  1. Building smarter: modernizing a historic Fort Sill barracks

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Tulsa District, is overseeing the modernization of historic Building 900 at U.S. Army Garrison Fort Sill, Oklahoma. The 1939 barracks is being brought up to current Unaccompanied Enlisted Personnel standards while preserving its historic exterior. The Military Construction project will include new living spaces and building systems as well as extensive structural reinforcements.

The Public Service Commendation Medal is a civilian award that recognizes individuals or organizations for significant, outstanding contributions to a military branch, a command, or a staff agency.
