Master Planning

There is an unprecedented shift - driven by federal sustainability initiatives, NetZero mandates, and Realignment and the Base Realignment and Closure Act initiatives – which demands a change in the established master planning mindset.  Under new Unified Facilities Criteria released in May, the Army established new guidelines for installation master planning, a Department of Defense-mandated process to ensure effective long-term development and management of resources. The impact on military construction, facility renovation and reuse, and mission training and readiness requires an integrated master plan that focuses on resource conservation, energy efficiency, and quality of life for Soldiers and their families – while remaining flexible so it can adapt to the Army's dynamic environment.

The Southwestern Division has excellent master planning expertise and is currently supporting Army installation customers with master planning studies at Fort Hood and Fort Sill.
