Corps and Beaver Lake Foundation sign partnership
ROGERS, Ark. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District signed a partnership agreement with the nonprofit Beaver Lake April 30, at the Prairie Creek Park Overlook Shelter at Beaver Lake. Little Rock District Commander, Col. Glenn Masset, Chief of Operations Division, John Balgavy and Beaver Lake Foundation President, Kerry Jensen signed the agreement formalizing the partnership. The partnership allows the Beaver Lake Foundation to provide resources to assist the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Beaver Lake project, to manage and conserve natural resources, provide outdoor recreation opportunities that contribute to the quality of life in Northwest Arkansas and to ensure long-term public access to, and use of the natural and cultural resources. The foundation is a group of local individuals that are interested in sustaining Beaver Lake for future generations.
