GALVESTON, Texas -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Galveston District will host a workshop on their regulatory program for all interested parties, September 25, 2023.
The event, running from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., will take place at the district’s headquarters located at 2000 Fort Point Road, Galveston, Texas 77550.
“We highly encourage the public to attend this workshop,” said Bob Heinly, the Galveston District’s Regulatory Division deputy chief. “We will specifically be addressing some of the current challenges in our program and how to streamline the application process by providing required information.”
The workshop is open to the public. To attend, individuals must submit an RSVP to swg_public_notice@usace.army.mil.
Attendees will need to submit their name, affiliation/company—if any—email, and telephone number to the aforementioned email address before the date of the workshop.
On the day of the workshop, attendees will need to present a valid state-issued driver’s license, identification card, or U.S. government issued passport to access the facility.
