The Southwestern Division offers a full suite of large-scaled engineering, construction, environmental & real estate services to our military customers. Headquartered in Dallas, these services are provided through three subordinate military district offices located in Fort Worth, Texas; Tulsa, Oklahoma; and Little Rock, Arkansas. In addition, the Division supports military construction in the Central Command area of responsibility through the Expeditionary and Middle East Districts. 

The Southwestern Division headquarters provides Military Construction program oversight, coordinates/implements technical policies and resolves program/project budgetary issues that cross district boundaries and Middle East. The Division also interfaces regionally with other Department of War, Federal and State agencies, Congressional leaders, interest groups and international commissions.

Typical MILCON projects include new construction or renovation of tactical operations centers, military family housing, barracks, office/classroom buildings and child-care facilities. 

 One area of special expertise is the delivery of Medical MILCON facilities.  The Southwestern Division currently has four major military hospital projects in various stages of design/construction.  These medical facilities will enable state of the art medical care for our soldiers, airmen, and their families.   

 Additional Facts:

• The Fort Worth District is the Army’s Center of Standardization for barracks facilities. 
• Building Information Modeling is used in the engineering design delivery for specific MILCON designs.
